Brita Water Filter

The one thing you MUST have for your RV.

Recently my wife and I were on the road for almost 7 weeks. I don’t have to tell you how bad drinking water is in most RV parks. It’s pretty much a given.

To counter that, my wife purchased a Brita extra-large 18 cup filtered water dispenser. It is her practice to fill multiple one-gallon jugs with our filtered water from home, but when you are on the road for an extended period of time you will run out of that water.

This filter never came in handier than when we were in North Carolina. To give ourselves a break from RV living (we only have an 18’ toy hauler), we rented a cabin for a while. At first we thought the water in the cabin was filled with rust (it would not have surprised us). We later found out that when there is a lot of rain in that particular area of NC, the water gets clay in it. In any event, we were fortunate to have our Brita. The water we filtered was clear and did not have a funky taste.

Below is a link to an Amazon page where you can buy this filter.

You can get the black filter cheaper – I don’t know why. Here is that link.

You can also get these at Walmart for about the same price but, remember, if you are a Prime member, you will get free shipping.
