Travelers World, Clovis, NM

We spent one night at Travelers World Campground (1361 US 60, Clovis, NM 88101). I will just cover the important points.

The sites are very level, something we like since I really don’t care to level our trailer from side-to-side. All of the spots are pull-through as well.

The WIFI is very strong!

You can get lots of over-the-air TV stations, most of which are stations in Texas

The bathrooms are VERY clean and air conditioned. This was important because it was over 90 degrees when we arrived.

The hot water in the showers is instant and you don’t run out.

The Good Sam rate we paid was $29. You cannot go wrong at that price.

There is one interesting aspect to the RV Park: it is about ¼ mile from RR tracks. You cannot hear the trains, but you can feel them. There is a slight vibration when a big train goes past. If you remember the “vibrating beds” from old motels, it is like that. Great for your back.

Note: if you are coming from Texas, gas up before you hit NM. The price goes up about 12 – 15 cents per gallon once you cross over.
