Performance
Having played with several $250 paddles, I know they typically offer superior power, impressive “pop,” and excellent control both from the baseline and around the net. The Pro Slim met all these criteria.
Around the Net
The Pro Slim excels in net play. The paddle strikes a perfect balance between stiffness and softness, providing superb control and effortless execution of straight-on and crosscourt dinks.
Baseline and Transition Zone
From the baseline and transition zone, the paddle offers impressive control and a soft touch. Third shot drops, including underspin crosscourt drop shots, were executed with ease.
Serving
Serving with the Pro Slim was a joy. I could deliver hard, flat serves with topspin and soft, deep serves with topspin, showcasing the paddle’s versatility.
Sweet Spot
The sweet spot is slightly above center, and even off-center hits (a rare event) were not significantly impacted.
