I have one 11SIX24 paddle, the YSF, that I have previously reviewed. I ordered a Hurache-X Control+ Paddle so I could compare the two. When the Hurache-X Control 14 MM paddle becomes available (soon, I hope) I will order one of those as well.
Let me get to the specifics of this paddle.

The paddle face is a triple-layered wonder featuring two layers of raw Toray T700 Carbon Fiber and a layer of fiberglass. Fiberglass you say? Isn’t that old technology? As it turns out, yes and no. I know another manufacturer that is reintroducing fiberglass into its paddles because, being “springier”, fiberglass can provide a bit more power to a paddle face.
Here are some other features:
- Foam Injected Walls for an increased sweet spot and added control
- Thermoformed edges (Unibody Construction)
- Average Weight – 8.0-8.3oz
- Total Length – 16.5 Inches
- Width – 7.5 Inches
- Grip Circumference – 4.125 Inches
- Grip Length – 6 Inches. Great for two handed backhands!
- Core Thickness – 16mm
- Swing weight – 118
- Twist weight – 6.29
This paddle performs extremely well in every circumstance and has a very “soft” feel, especially around the net. It is also very quiet, like the YSF. I’m not sure how that quietness is obtained, but it is quite a bit different from other paddles I have. It compares well with the Six Zero Double Black Diamond and the Body Helix X-4, both of which are excellent, quiet paddles.
The main difference between the YSF and the Hurache-X Control+ is the power of the Hurache-X Control+. I’m not talking about a monster, but a paddle that lets you hit a harder shot when you need to without exerting a lot of effort. The ball does not fly off the paddle, but comes off like a laser shot.
Regarding spin, both the YSF and the Hurache-X Control+ let you provide a ton of top spin and side spin on your balls.
COST: With affordability being a significant factor, the 11SIX24 Hurache-X Control+ emerges as an enticing option at $139 a relatively low price for a high-performance paddle. Additionally, the provided discount code (GregHansen10) offers further incentive, making it an attractive proposition for budget-conscious players seeking a power paddle without compromising quality.
